Integrated production system from raw material processing to finished product processing
In order to provide high-quality products more speedily and at lower cost, it is necessary to implement integrated production from raw material processing to finished-product processing in-house. We have been working on building an "automated, integrated production system" from an early stage. We will continue to improve our production processes in order to respond to the diversifying and increasingly precise needs of our customers.
One-hour automation
We are building a production line based on the concept of "one-hour automation" to enable unmanned production during the one-hour lunch break and during shift changeover. One hour's worth of materials can be stocked in the IN/OUT stocker, and this is achieved by connecting the equipment of each process with an in-house designed transport equipment. We maintain product quality by using automatic measuring equipment and feeding back correction values.
Quality assurance based on quality standards
We perform thorough quality control, including assurance using equipment such as automatic measurement equipment, image processing equipment, and gear checkers, quality checks within the line, and measurement of finished products by specialized measurement personnel. Our basic quality assurance policy is "building quality into the process." Defective products are not sent to the subsequent processes.
In-house re-sharpening of cutting tools
We re-sharpen the cutting tools used in production in-house. In-house re-sharpening makes it easy to provide feedback on products, and contributes to a reduction in cutting tool costs, a significant reduction in lead time, and a reduction in the stock of cutting tools.
